PNW Components Introduces the Rover Hip Pack
Easy and accessible front/side pockets is a must IMO. The Osprey Seral and Savu (1st gen at least) have this. Large enough to fit multitool, keys, even sunglasses. If you're just doing regular rides, I would also recommend as small of a bag as you can get away with when choosing models. And even smaller bags (like the Savu) can hold two water bottles. This should be an option for sure.

First Look: 2021 Vitus Escarpe & Sommet
I have a 2016 carbon Sommet and it might as well be from a different universe. Weighs 28 lbs! Non boost, 23mm stock rims and a little short in the cockpit for a medium. Still a great bike though. Definitely more trail than enduro despite the enduro badge at the time. Very interested in these new ones but besides the added weight, the stand over appears noticeably taller than the competitors I'm looking at, all with lower sloping top tubes. Is stand over not much of a thing for most riders these days? Or am I misjudging the looks. Also gets a B grade on looks vs the competition (Propain, Transition) but A+ on value which is to be expected (and much appreciated).
