Trek Fuel EX 5 Deore (L)

$1450 GBP
Trek Fuel EX 5 2021 Size Large 130/140mm 29er, Shimano Deore 1x12s PRICE REDUCED £1450 RRP £2300 Excellent condition, mostly unused/new parts! I bought this bike in January 2021 and rode it until April 2021 - it has been gathering dust ever since. I rebuilt the bike completely, so the only components that were used (for 4 months) from the stock bike are the frame, drivetrain and wheels. A few weeks before I stopped riding it I fitted new rear wheel bearings and a new 12s Shimano XT chain, and the frame bearings have plenty of life left too. The bike has now been returned to the stock spec, and I've given the gears a tune and the brakes are bled - so it's like a brand new again. The drivetrain has some wear and scuffs, and there are some paint chips on the frame and the rims. For complete transparency, there is a very small dent on the frame just by the chainring. I wrapped the frame from new and have left most of the clear tape in place, although I removed it from the top tube to prove the condition of the paint underneath. The build specifications weren't changed from 2021 to 2022, so this is still bang up to date. Full spec list from Trek: https://www.trekbikes.com/gb/en_GB/bikes/mountain-bikes/trail-mountain-bikes/fuel-ex/fuel-ex-5/p/33073/?colorCode=grey_orangelight Collection from Lake District (Cockermouth) or North Wales (Conwy). Happy to box up for a courier if that's preferred - Buyer pays postage. Any questions please ask.

A Deeper Look at SRAM's Patent Application For a Wireless Automatic Suspension Controller
@mikekazimer: clearly there's zero *actual* plagiarism. There is also zero journalistic integrity though. It might be public information, and this article may well be independently written, but it's easy to put 2+2 together and work out where the inspiration for this "analysis" has come from.

Video: Neko Mulally Tests if a Lighter Bike is Faster for Racing
@ben-cathro: Sprung/Unsprung mass ratio numbers would be interesting, arguably that's more relevant than saying "+1 water bottle" like Neko did. Also adding that unsprung mass component as a rotating mass (lead weights on rims as stingmered said) versus fixed masses on rear swingarm or fork lowers would be interesting. Getting into lots of variables here but testing different terrain would be another interesting avenue, different mass ratios on a bermed bike park track versus on a rough rocky track etc. Look forward to seeing what you can come up with!
