This is just a reliabled SBone G3C. I have been running that chain tentioner since about 4-5 years know. In that time i did absolutly no maintenance and it took some good hits. still works flawlessly. 300€ might sound like a lot but it is really worth it. i just wish any bikepart would be this good

Pinkbike Poll: Should Downhill Bikes Have More Than 200 Millimeters of Travel?

if you want to talk travel you need to talk leverage ratio aswell. i don't think making DH more plush is nesessary but with more travel you can have them more linear. 220 mm in the rear seems good. for the fork i don't know. as a tall rider i wouldn't mind a longer fork but you need to consider forkdive aswell

i see no reason why they should. park riders might want to bring a bottle and tool, racers want to mount telemetry components

want to point out that the bike has no fork bumpers. bit disapointing for a high end frame in 2024.

Welcome to the 2024 Downhill Field Test

Commencal went from 5 to 2 year in 2020 or 2021 if i remember correctly. I'm not saying they did this because of the supreme issues but these two things seem to align. (x-files music)
