First Look: Yeti ASR Lunch Ride

@awoodward: I bought this bike to ride the CT with a buddy next summer. We're riding Frisco to Leadville to BV this weekend - very psyched (not my first rodeo on the CT). But also to have something a little different for long miles/more fun at Galbraith. Back home I run DD f/r on the Firebird that I was riding on Galby and loamers. Really like the damping. Might just try the Forekasters to see how they go because I don't want to slow the bike down too much, but like you said might go a touch grippier in the front over winter if I find myself slip sliding everywhere.

First Look: Yeti ASR Lunch Ride

This segment of bike is silly fun. I've been riding enduro/trail/DH bikes exclusively for the past 10-15 years (in Colorado and now Bellingham) and just bought the new Spur this week on a trip to Colorado - it's kind of the perfect bike for most Colorado trail riding. I'm interested to see how it does back home in Bellingham (Galby bike), but I'm having a blast so far. This bike looks as fun as the Spur and Blur - dropper seems a touch short, frame seems very light, nice to have all those bosses, specs seem solid. Bikes sure are expensive these days!

I have a convertible Leatt Enduro that I use for travel and for gnarlier trail rides. Lets me ride with the face open and I just pop the chin on for descents.
