Hattie is on the podium plus Jackson's signature grips have a huge end stop on them to function somewhat the same way. It's definitely not for everyone but seems like it's helped all the riders who've chose to stick with them

@gmiller720: Team directives might've been to ride more chill so she could secure the overall win, I think she's shown by the massive time gaps Vali has had before that she is still a league above the field. From what I've heard in past wynTV interviews a lot of the womens field is intimidated hearing what kinda weight lifting that Vali can do, which shows in how different her body composition is from most other riders there.

@Ih8Hondas: there are 4 wheel bikes called pedal cars, we could say they're mechanically cousins. It's only hard to bleed if you've got a bad fitting, functionally it works the same as a hose. Having the bike in the right orientation for a bleed will avoid any issues you're worried about

Feels fairly well hinted in the statement that they're trying to integrate this into the series that crankworx is running, but to be fair it could also be an interesting way to qualify into those level events by stacking points in the app. Rewards people for traveling around and racing more variety

@gerryatrix: I'm speaking more to when they became popular on trail bikes vs just xc bikes, and when the industry shifted fork offset to work better for the wheelsize. Wasn't trying to erase their history I know it was a long time growing in popularity

Genuinely curious but have you ridden one? All this dialogue reminds me exactly of what people were saying about 29 in the early 2010's. It'll make sense for some use cases as a better tool and sometimes it won't. I think you've gotta draw the distinction between PB fairly covering new products that brands are developing vs seeing it as propaganda that you must then buy them as your old bike is defunct.
