Melissa Buhl Retires from racing
In the US a degree in medicine refers to an MD or DO, professional degrees that physicians get. The BSN degree and even doctorates in nursing are refered to as degrees in nursing (ie, Hi, I'm Dr. XX, your nurse practitioner, I have a doctorate in nursing..."). Not that nurses don't learn anything about medicine, it's just the convention used to avoid confusion. There are masters degrees out there in biomedical sciences, but people don't refer to them as medical degrees.

Dang, leaving getting paid for riding your bike all around the world to study all day every day/work 100+ hours/week for the next decade before becoming a doctor? That's crazy!! I jest, I jest, good luck with your medical school applications.

HAHAHA... sitting in my ambulance base as we speak. Pinkbike is my escape from the 24 hours of catering to welfare recipients. This is actually my last full time shift. I am going to work for an organ bank.

you have got to be an EMT.... with a name like MRSAful and the ED rant about fat people. If you don't work in emergency services I will be amazed.
