@toddersby: i am a bike reviewer for a different publication and have tested bikes for about 7 years professionally. I may not know what the perfect bike for everyone is, but i know pretty well what makes a bike good for my riding style and terrain. DW6 on the Robot Bike was one of the best performing rear suspension systems i have ridden, so a custom geometry with my favored suspension systems seems like the right way to go, don’t you think?

@stormracing: maybe they have changed their mind, i think i asked about a year ago. But moving the rear axle or bb position influences the kinematics, so i can somewhat understand why they don‘t do it. Short chainstays with a long front end just isn’t the kind of compromise i want to have at that price point.

@stormracing: I was in contact with their sales team about a custom chainstay lenght or t47 bb (for a large excentric bb), but they can’t make the chainstay longer or change the bb size.
