Where Have All the Women's Bikes Gone? A Look Inside an Ever-Changing Market
Why not just have a 'W' build option for each bike, where you get a few things swapped out like women's saddle, thinner grips, narrower bars and shorter cranks, but it remains the same otherwise? Many bike shops would likely offer this service at no or little extra charge though. I bought a Trek Marlin 7 (2020) for my wife recently. She wanted the women's specific model, but they didn't have a women's small in stock. I pointed out that the geometry of the men's small (which they did have in stock) was exactly the same, so she could try that out to get an idea of the size before ordering the women's. She found the top tube position was fine (lower on the women's) and she liked it, so we went for the men's. I do however have to get a women's saddle for her, and cut the bars down a little. She also preferred the green/purple flip colour of the men's model over the women's colour.

Review: Zipp's 3Zero Moto Carbon Wheels Live Up To Their Compliance Claims
So all this technology and money to get them to feel like alloy wheels? And they weigh more than my Hunt Trail Wide wheels! I am totally not convinced by carbon wheels, the only time I would buy them would be if I was trying to show off how much cash I have (which I don't!).

Shimano Loosens Micro Spline Hub Licensing Restrictions
Great news. I really love my Hunt wheels, and really want Shimano XT M8100. Fingers crossed Novatec (the hubs used by Hunt) will have a freehub that will fit my wheels soon!

SRAM to Introduce a $15 Universal Derailleur Hanger - Eurobike 2019
So in the same week, Sram release this hanger which allow it to move back in a crash and TRP release a mech with a lock to stop it rotating backwards. Makes sense.

CeramicSpeed Unveil Prototype Telescoping MTB Drivetrain - Eurobike 2019
Sorry - I think this is just BS. I believe they are trying to generate hype for the brand. I can't see how you would change gear as a sliding changer would effectively either have to be in 2 gears at once for a split second (which doesn't work as it will jam or crunch!) or will have to go into neutral (great! lol). As far as I know, nobody has ever seen this drivetrain change gear on any bike (mtb or road). The only functioning prototype they appear to have is for a single speed. I'll happily be corrected, because if it does work, it could be great, but I just don't buy it.

Pit Randoms Round 1: Mont-Sainte-Anne World Champs 2019
These levers already have dimples in them. I'd guess he is drilling them slightly to create sharper edges and therefore more grip. Is isn't drilling them all the way through. Edit, @shrockie got there first!

Review: The 2020 Santa Cruz Hightower Gets a New Look & More Travel
Looks like they did a good job of updating the Hightower. I considered the previous model, but found it a bit dated. I ultimately went for a Yeti SB130LR, but had this new Hightower been available, I may well have gone for it.

MagSuck's Chainring Uses Magnets to Prevent Dropped Chains
I doubt the forces involved to drop a chain will be overcome by tiny magnets. Plus, you are probably using more energy to pedal as the chain is trying to slightly stick to the ring constantly.

6 Key Facts From the EWS Health Study
Agreed. I did Judo when I was 10 for only 1 year and that first year literally taught me to fall correctly and use body weight to my advantage. I also did gymnastics as that sort of age too, which certainly helped with balance (I used to be a trials rider way back). I totally put down my lack of major injuries to these younger experiences.
