I used to love my Troy Lee Stage. But since I mostly wear motocross helmets these days the Stage felt more like a yoghurt cup last time I put it on. Probably better than open face, but I am not sure if these light full faces are 'safe' really.

Pinkbike Poll: Do You Suffer From Arm Pump When Mountain Biking?
I used to ride moto before I started mountainbiking. I think that's the reason why I never got armpump during descents, they are just to short and my arms are used to working for way longer.

Video: Loïc Bruni vs An Average Rider On a Proper World Cup Track
When I visited the Leogang WC in 2015 I saw these guys (and girls, too) ride faster than my mind could ever cope with, let alone my courage. Two years later, in 2017 I watched the WC in VdS, when Gwin wone the overall after Minnaar flatted. The speed all of the pros were going was mindblowing. They were going through rough sections at lightspeed only to sniper between two trees not that much wider than their handlebars. It made me realise the pros live in a different world, doing a different sport.

@nedersotan: I guess most people would be surprised, maybe disappointed, if they recorded the actual time they spend riding on a day at the park. Most people won't care, but I do.

@nedersotan: sooo, 5 mins loading, 20min driving there, 20min driving home, 5min of unloading. That's 50 minutes. 1 hour of recorded riding, the rest is uplift. That's two hours wasted to me, these days.
