Those shoes are what my mate wears all the time riding, I tried volleys once...broke three toes. Now I stick to 5.10s.

Same thing for me, when I was younger I asked for a bike called "morning glory" before I knew what that was. It was very awkward once dad stopped laughing and told me what it meant.
