 Hey guys! I crashed because my seat was too low and it stopped the tire up the lip. Seat bouncing isn't impossible on a MTB, I do it all the time haha. I did it on a few jumps before I crashed on this one. Sooooo... stop spreading nonsense :p

 TThat kind of crash is the worst feeling ever, i did that when i was doing a whip on a 35 footer at my local mountain... lucky I had my neck brace !! btw, I love that new tld gear Eliot !! Thinking of buying the same set !

 @subhuman2178: if the seat bumps the tire the tire can still spin but the I inirtia throws the you forward in the cockpit and the bike rotating. Ive made this same mistake

 Its crazy to see the bike flex under the impact, and the forks compress so much under the inertia of the wheel as the handlebars smack the ground. must've been some crash!

 I think, your mistake was the all body weight on the rear tire during takoff, not your seat....

 Why did he crash? Was it because he pulled back when entering the jump?

 Seat bouncing, too much energy built up in the back and it bucked him over. MX riders do it but they have engines so can increase the bikes speed whilst going up the lip, so they're less likely to get ejected out the front. Watch some MX vids to see how it's done properly.
