Whoop Becomes Title Sponsor of the UCI Mountain Bike World Series
Most of the athletes used the wristband last year, which is actually quite inaccurate while riding DH. Fine otherwise but in a sport like that with a very high heartrate and a lot of movement on the wrist it's not good enough. 121bpm is not true, I would imagine closer to at least 180, also for pro athletes.

Polygon Factory Racing Looks to be Shutting Down for 2024
What wins on Sunday sells on Monday! Really depends on what kind of Youtuber as well. Lots of youtubers out there who have millions of followers and can't ride a bike at all, not gonna be influenced by that kind of brand ambassador personally.

Review: DVO Onyx SC D1 Enduro Fork
@bigmeatpete420: It is. Every fork will be improved by properly sizing and aligning the bushings. That's usually what's wrong with the forks when they feel harsh even when almost brand new. Every WC racers fork gets the bushings sized and aligned for exactly that reason.....almost no fork is good from the factory in that regard. You can even search for an article from Fox about this

Review: DVO Onyx SC D1 Enduro Fork
@krka73: there is no fork out there that has properly aligned and sized bushings from the factory. Every fork need the bushings done to work very well!

"It Doesn't Seem Like They Really Want Privateers Here" - Interviews with World Cup Privateer Racers
@Maxcommencemal: basically the Track develops much less than at the World Cup. It is mostly the same track but for example the Maribor track at the IXS cup changes in 3 days as much as in one day at the World Cup. You really need the worlds fastest riders on it as well to have a WC race track. Also different lines get ridden in. It is very different to race, even when the track is the same on trackwalk day.

"It Doesn't Seem Like They Really Want Privateers Here" - Interviews with World Cup Privateer Racers
You can't learn how to ride World Cup tracks quickly, without being at a World Cup. Even a IXS European Cup is so much easier. You actually need experience at riding the hardest track with the best riders riding it to lern how to ride these tracks. And you won't get on a team just by racing IXS EDC's. Pricemoney is ok tho for the first 3 Elite riders

EMRG's 'Virtual Pivot Headset' Alters Fork Offset
Don't know if that is true. I feel like 4mm or more of offset change are very noticeable, you just get used to the steering very quickly....because you have to if you don't want to crash on every corner. I tested 46 and 50mm on my DH bike and prefered 50. On the Enduro I first had 51 and then something like 42 or 44, that was a big change. 56 to 50 on DH forks was also very different
