'14 Rock Shox Vivid Air R2C2 9.5 x 3.0' /' 240 x 76

$200 USD
Great condition rear shock that I bought to put on my Iron Horse Sunday, but the air can was too large to fit in the frame- sooo bummed! Awesome, 9/10 condition shock, light as hell. Would potentially trade for an awesome set of 26'' DH wheels in great condition- 20mm front, 150mm rear axle spacing, 6-bolt preferred.

'08 Boxxer World Cup solo air (needs rebuild)

$100 USD
Project fork that I've got no ambition to rebuild. It worked great this summer until it started leaking oil from the lowers- I changed the seals, put new oil in, put it all back together/ it didn't seem quite right/ was way too firm. I'm not sure if it needs an air cartridge rebuild or I'm just completely fucking something up- either way, I'm ditching it to get an 888. Rebound knob is missing and the Maxle was stripped prior to my owning it, though I carved out the former 6mm allen hole to fit an 8mm/ it works almost just fine. Motion control damper works fine/ stanchions are in pretty good shape, also includes 8'' rotor adapter, 6.5'' steerer with star nut. If you're picky, front axles are something like $35 on E-bay. Just paint it up, rebuild it and throw it on an old school DH bike!

5.75'' x 350lbs-ish titanium coil (FOX)

$150 USD
I know next to nothing about this ti coil other than that it came on my DHX 5.0 (also for sale) and is most definitely not the right size for a 9.5 x 3.0 shock. It measures 5.75'' and I'd guess that it's around a 350lb spring, though it's not stated anywhere on the shock.

Fox DHX 5.0 (needs rebuild) 9.5 x 3''

$80 USD
Fox DHX 5.0 rear shock that came on a DH bike I bought in Vancouver this summer that had an air leak from the start. All other adjustments work as far as I know, though it'll definitely need some love. I have no time/ energy to learn how to rebuild this thing! Measures 9.5'' and has a 3'' stroke. $80 shipped anywhere in the US

Sam Pilgrim shows us How To!
Learn English as in put apostrophes when they're needed to make contractions, as in he's? lol Looks like I'm not the only one that can put "lol" at the end of a dick statement and make it seem like it's in good fun ;]

Technical Tuesday: How To Fix A Broken Chain
At our bike shop, we're told that we can only mend 9+ speed chains with appropriate linking devices, such as powerlinks, hyperglide pins, etc; I've also had many chains snap on me when mending a chain like this then cranking really hard. Anyone else know what I'm talking about, or is this b/s? I wanna know!
