Randoms: Bespoked Show 2024, Manchester
I'm surprised the Ted James single speed DH bike didn't make it in here.

Video: Amaury Pierron's Winning Run POV from the Val di Sole DH World Cup 2024
Ruddy heck. Thats jolly quick. I would love to see some form of eye tracking technology, so you can overlay a spot onto the video that shows where he's looking moment to moment. How do you take that much in that quickly?

First Look: The 2024 Arc8 Extra Has Suspension Rails
Beautiful bike, though I don't know of anyone who ever wanted more stanchion surfaces to worry about scratching. I wonder how fussy the pressumably linear bearings are about the surface, compared to a sealed rational unit

[Updated with Company Statement] Orange Bikes Intends to Appoint Administrator
Love my 529. It's not as plush as my reign was, not as stiff, but it rides beautifully, has proper angles, and doesn't have 14 bearings to look after. I'm not a pro. Getting along at maximum speed means less time spent riding. Maximum smiles is far more important. I wanted single pivot and aluminium. I've always thought, if I ever snap it, I'd just buy another the same.

Slack Randoms: Retro Rob Warner, Conor McGregor's Bike Crash, Twin Fixed Gear Drivetrains & More
... though you would have to have a crossover arrangement on the cruising gear so while pedalling backwards, you still went forwards.

Slack Randoms: Retro Rob Warner, Conor McGregor's Bike Crash, Twin Fixed Gear Drivetrains & More
"Double Drivetrain Fixed Gear" Absolutly missed a trick here, because you can put two different gear ratios on. Have forward pedalling as a lower gear for climbing and acceleration, then rearward pedalling for a cruise along the flat gear.

First Look: 5DEV's Titanium Chainring Promises 3x the Durability
alumium chainrings are chasing grams for the published weights of bikes. i would always seek out the "cheaper" steel option when im replacing my chainrings. So with that said, the question is, is a Ti Chainring worth the cost uplift for the weight saved? still no.

Bikepacking 340km a Day to Complete the EWS Series - Saving the Hardest for Last
Editorial proof reading standards must be slipping at Pink Bike. The article reads in such a way that it implies... and youll have a good old laugh a this.... that he rode the EWS, but then cycled, on an enduro bike, carrying all his stuff, between stages... and came 13th in his category.
