Schwalbe Announces 5 New Tire Casings & 2 New Tread Patterns
I have a question. Ive had my HDs set up tubeless on my bike for yeeeears. I shredded the rear, and moved the front tyre (unshredded) onto the rear and put a new MagicMary on the front. Why, after maybe...5 years of tubeless shreddery, do i STILL loose sealant through the sidewall of the tyre? The sidewalls are always "wet" when i come to the bike. I assumed that the first coating of milk would seal the Tyre? I dont loose air, theyve been great, i just got a boring old thorn puncture earlier this week and when i finally gave up waggling it around and pulled the tyre to put a tube in, i found there wasnt a drop of sealant in there. Top tip, don't ignore your sealant levels for months on end. Might start carrying a little bottle of sealant with my pump. Maybe someone could invent a gas cartridge that delivers a shot of extra sealant in the same move.

Enginerding: How Are Seat Tube Angles Actually Measured & Why Does It Matter?
Being 6'4" (193cm), ive always struggled to get a bike to "fit". weight pushing further backwards than it should at the saddle making climbing a pig (thats my excuse and im sticking to it), but also the manufacturers rarely make, any significant increase in headtube length. Back when i rode 26" bikes, i just got used to sitting on top of the bike, ready to get ejected out the front door if the front wheel hooked up. My Giant Trance (a proper 105mm one, not a new fangled 120 or 140mm one), the headtube on that was like a keel/bow, but it still wasnt all that long. I think i was on the maximum of the steerer tube that came on my Revelations. Now ive gone to 29er, and sitting behind the bars is a fantastic improvement. Who do i sue for all the years ive spent on an XXL bike designed by and for someone who was 5ft nuffin?

CyclingTips Digest: How SRAM Was Built, Silca Hot Wax, Internal-Gear Hubs, and More
So.... the drag of an IG hub, the exposure to filth and damage of a derailleur setup the potential lack of suspension influence of a 2x setup (in granny ring, most suspensions sit up and climb better) the cables to get stiff and gritty on the mech the battery to charge on the hub. Dont get me wrong, i'm all in favour of new ideas, but its a joke, right?

First Ride: RockShox's New Zeb Fork
" It's great that a Code caliper can bolt right onto the Zeb without needing to dig for an adaptor, but riders in the Shimano camp will still need to run two 1.5mm washers to get their brake caliper to align properly." Thats why they've done it. Knobbers.

im calling it, this the next niche. Trials riding, but with a destination, rather than hopping around a rockery. Nadge is to Trials what Enduro is to DH. Except, its still Enduro. Im on board.
