Review: Spank's Foam-Filled Spike 350 Vibrocore Wheelset
Love my spank Oozys, though the grippy bead seat does eat beads if you make a habit of taking the tyre off. No doubt that the shape of the Oozy does what it is supposed to do, its wide, and tough as old boots. All I asked for. I have my doubts about vibrocore though

but the difference in overall wheel size, due to tyre diameter will mess up the geometry. 29ers will accept 26" wheels too, but it will ride like a bag of ass.

What Passes For Humor - Sunday Comics with Taj Mihelich
i've got my eye on a rear steer tandem on facebook marketplace at the moment. Kids saddle at the front, with widely adjustable bars, seat and bottom bracket positions, Adult stoker steers via a linkage between the cranks. they want £800 though, and it looks decidedly home-made, which makes me think I could make a less shady looking version.

@Worm-Burner: America uses the metric system too, officially. All their Imperial units are now specifically defined in mm, rather than grains of wheat.

First Look: DT Swiss' New Ratchet EXP Hub Design
I don't understand expensive wheels. A pair of Hope hubs on reasonable level Mavic rims is going to set you back maybe £300. Fit them and ignore them for the next 10 years, at which point they'll need a bearing change which is an hour or two's work. What more do you want?
