Had a 2017 enduro. I don't miss it at all. I'll strap stuff on the frame and in the fork steerer. Easy to access and I can choose whichever fram I want.

Nah man. Plenty of 27 bikes out there but yeah there are more 29ers.
Of course you can put a 27,5 wheel on a mullet. But you need to do some changes to make up for the smaller front wheel. It's not rocket surgery. I believe in you - and so should you. Go build yourself an awesome small wheeled bike bike a prove to the Internet that you are right and everyone else is wrong.
