@dreamlink87: I find it VERY interesting and irritating at the same time that they do not send out any parts for review or demo. They have a firm stance that their stuff is good enough and doing so in a " trust me bro" kind of fashion.
Dont get me wrong. I have a Bandit that I love and met other Intend owners that have been on their part for a long time because they work and there is little to no trouble with them. So their "trust me bro" is to be trusted. I get that sending stuff out for review or comparisons to other parts is a gamble - and if they sell enough parts than why should they change?

I need to change some details. Tunes are now 100euros and service is 250 euros. If you do tune and service that is 280 euros.
But on the other hand that is still double of the service cost of other shocks.

I came to say this exact thing!
An now when Intend are in the market as well with shocks that perform great and are very easy to service - EXT really needs to find a way to make their support better and/or cheaper.
If a shock comes with the wrong tune it is around 250 euros, where I live, to get it reshimmed - and if that tune does not work - it is another 250 euros. Why not a discount or a fixed price until the customer is happy?
I sold my EXT stuff because of the price of service and the very expensive tuning. Beside this it was a VERY good shock and the HBO was just amazing. Never ridden a shock that just shrugs off big compressions and square hits like it. Ohlins comes close, but it does not feel as great as EXT while not going MACH SCHNELL!

If Conti was Pirelli " Common guys - this is easy! Orientation of the claw and curvature of the tail is how you know what compound and casing you have. IT IS DEAD SIMPLE! One funky claw and a straight stinger tail is the DH with Soft compound BUT if the stinger is bent to the left it is a trail casing with supersoft. How is that so hard to understand?"

@Motivated: I am pretty sure that the in the beginning of enduro this tye of equipment choices were top priority. I remember that the Maxxis Rekon was used as a rear tyre for less rolling resistance. Might have been more pedally and longer days back then. But I would never run that rear tyre, even on my, very tame + sometimes chunky, local trails.

@matthewfmtb: How is that not a perfect bike and setup for that type of race? What would you change for next time? I mean - I thought you had like trails tyres or something "heavy" like that. Racing R/R is pretty darn light weight :P
