Video: Enduro Like You’ve Never Seen It | Jesse Melamed’s Squamish Follow Cam
@farkinoath: If there's a guy for the job, it's probably Jesse. Not to mention—probably everyone in the top 30 can hang on to each other's back wheel for a few minutes at a time. It's keeping that pace across an entire race day while making the fewest mistakes that decides the race most of the time. But I'll bet it's real hard for any of them to drop each other.

Looked like you were having a ripper of a day out there Jesse! Doing the race media circus like pretty much no one else can.

Video: Converting an Enduro Bike To A Bike Park Weapon
Been running my alloy Process X as a full 27.5" singlespeed park bike for 2.5 summers now with a similar build— 200mm dual crown fork, 27.5" wheels in a frame originally designed for Mullet use with a 170mm fork. The BB is about 10mm lower than stock, which makes it corner amazingly. It would be annoying to climb with the lower bb, but the single speed drivetrain removes any temptation to do that. Durability wise, I've found it to be great, ride feel is super playful. Modern bike park trails (especially flow trails) design towards a flatter, more "brakeless" design—it reduces the maintenance workload and limits the top speed available to riders in a way that corresponds with their ability to corner. So more skilled riders can have speed, and less skilled riders have a safer experience... which is sick, until you realize your DH bike robs you a bit when you need to pump for speed. But dual crowns give a bike stability on the ground and in the air that just isn't available from enduro forks, and the bumpers play a big role in that when you're in the air. So in that way I think a converted enduro bike makes a funner park bike in some ways, as long as you're not trying to actually race or have too strong a preference for tech trails.

Video Of The Month - September 2025
Mostly my Red camera, some batteries, a few lenses… ya know, the normal stuff. Plus a jacket, puffy, a day of food, bear spray, whatever for repairs, light first aid kit, and probably some rocks for good measure. But mostly my camera.
