Yeah but the Optic is high pivot these days I think so there's room for an actual trail bike that isn't a mini sled.

You have to ride a WC XC track to appreciate what they are doing on very short and steep bikes.
The more tech XC courses are full of features the average rider would only hit on an enduro bike.

Maxxis isn't particularly expensive compared to alternatives where I live and it seems everything else is worse on wet roots which is a big factor for my local trails.
