Tech Randoms - Leogang DH World Cup
50/50 chance. I blew out the main seal of the DBair twice within a couple months, the first time was on the second ride. The second time it happened, I had to walk down the entire Fitzsimmons half of Whistler and back to the hotel, luckily had a back up coil shock to finish out the trip. It would take some serious convincing for me to ever buy a CC air shock again...

Coil Shock or Air Shock? – Tales From the Pits at Fort William
I went full air on my last DH bike and it ended up an expensive mistake for me personally... Boxxer World Cup fork and Cane Creek DB Air shock. While the weight savings were absolutely huge and very noticeable, the performance of both left a lot to be desired. The DBair blew it's main O-ring twice within 3 months of purchasing brand new (ruining two bike park days) and the tracking of gnarly trails never seemed as good as a coil shock. The Boxxer had nice fine air pre-load adjustability, but they were a bit harsh in deep travel and the stanchions are kinda flexy. An unrelated Boxxer problem for me was also the stanchion length, it was about 1cm shorter than I needed to feel comfortable. I felt like my bars were too low, even at maximum bar height... Currently back to coil: Marzocchi 380 C2R2 / Rock Shox Vivid R2C coil and this setup feels great!

Coastal Escape: Ditching Spring Snow For the Sunshine Coast
Just went last month for the first time. CGP is a very special place with a great variety of buffed trails for all levels. Only had one day to ride, but stayed until closing and can't wait to go back! Down-home welcoming atmosphere and their chef makes really good food! Go if you can!

East Bound and Down: Upstate South Carolina
Anybody else notice the lack of knee-pad usage on the east coast? Is it just a style thing...like flannels and fanny packs in WA and tank tops with neck braces at Whistler?

Agreed, my friend's Nukeproof is the one in this picture, I've ridden it a couple times and it's very stable at high speed and jumping, mine is the TR500, super stable and predictable too...
