Video: Yoann Barelli & Friends Rebuild an Iconic Richie Schley Drop
The sport has evolved so much in the last 20 years, but when a group of guys like this who regularly hit big stuff in parks are intimidated, goes to show how gnarly that stuff is and WAS back when RS did it the first time before anybody had..... I remember driving up to BC in the early 2000's and riding NS and scoping out some of the stuff we used to watch in the vids with some locals....no flippin' way I was hitting that stuff! There is also that line over the rocks below Fitzsimmons lift in Whistler that is gnarly....I think Wade hit it in a vid back in the day....

Trans Cascadia's Ten for Trails is Back
I've been a part of a couple of these work parties - it's amazing how much they get done. Long hard 10+ hr days but feels great to look at the progress....particularly so from the perspective of a racer also. I've done a lot of trail work with with some of the moto clubs which usually consists of BS over coffee for an hour in the morning, leisure trail clearing for 2-3 hours, couple beers, done by 2....not so with the TC crew, well oiled, tools dialed, logistics figured out, food, beer, reserved campgrounds, it's impressive....

Win It Wednesday: Enter to Win Vittoria Syerra Tires
@pink505: well you are in good company since guys like Jack Moir and Sam Hill have not run inserts in the past, so there is that. I agree though, I like the way a bike feels with more PSI, I'm 190 and am up in the 24/27 PSI range when racing rocky enduro's, but can get down into that low 20's like you and be comfortable....

Win It Wednesday: Enter to Win Vittoria Syerra Tires
I've run inserts but don't always....they absolutely allow lower pressure - pros and cons to that. When I chatted up Felix Burke at BCBR in 2019 he was running like 18/19 psi w/inserts which would be 21+ without....it was wet and slippery, I think it was a big advantage. Ideal setups IMO for a aggressive XC bike, say BCBR or ripping around Squamish, Whistler, Moab, etc. would be something like a Syerra in back, rear cushcore XC, front Agarro w/o insert....

Video: Rooted In Whistler - The Georgia Astle Story
Her dad: "I've always told her to follow her dreams...I would have" My parents when I was a kid back in the early 90's: "get a job, that bike isn't going to pay your bills, your going to hurt yourself, whaddya think your Evel Knievel or something..." Rad rider and cool edit...
