First Ride: Marin Tam - Fast, Flashy, and Aluminum

This resembles my old 2015 marin mount vision in geo and travel, which was then considered an enduro bike at the time. Since then trail bikes have become more akin to enduro bikes, and enduro bikes are more like downhill bikes. Every year bikes became more capable and burly downhill performers to the point where the weight of these bikes in every category has crept up. I am excited to see this category get more options like this. A slightly overbuilt XC bike that is light, responsive, and can handle a little rougher riding. These bikes are more all arounders and great for avdenture riding. And it's aluminum. what's not to like
