Review: Trickstuff's Maxima Brakes Are Fancy and Finicky
These have the most thorough and repeatable bleed out there, the full extension of the pistons and then retraction under vaccum at caliper syringe was rock solid every time for me. So much so, that I'll use it where possible on other brakes too.
Did you boys attempt a bleed with a hammer and 50 garage beers or something? 😝

@ultimatist: I assume they use the small batch model to remain flexible in the market. Ie can make changes quickly and easily get production slots. They're about to release their 4th Gen ebike, every model has had a different motor for example.

Hello pinkbike friends, I have sacrificed my time to watch the video to summarize it for you all. *clears throat.
The reason fork stanchions are getting bigger is not all about stiffness, because there is more room it allows for more flexibility of damper and air spring packaging and allows tuning of these to be more flexible due to the increased volumes for components/oil/air. As Henry put it, stiffness and these other benefits is a happy marriage of convenience.

Bought some of these to try out. They're really good. Nice positive entry/exit.
I've had mallets for a bit, but got over vague entry and the 'surprise your cleats are worn' exiting you didn't want.
I tried Hope gravity too, the proprietary and not super available cleat and the price were off putting.
With the one ups I did a car park install, zero setup, zero fluffing with shims. Running crankbrothers shoes. And they worked great, really stoaked.

This is a fantastic shock, I absolutely love mine. I had a couple of rides on my ebike on one and almost immediately ordered one for my dh bike I liked it that much. The tuning calc is pretty bang on too. It let's you get a very dialled setup super fast, how good!

Oh and when you come back it will be best to allocate riding days in Queenstown also, promise all the feed stations there will be stocked haha.
