2016 Summer Clothing Guide
@meagerdude: the problem with hand-waving the cost of MTB clothing away under the guise of 'tech is expensive' is that it's not a transparent way to illustrate cost (and value added as a result of that cost). It's easy to demonstrate that the square area of a fabric in a jersey costs $5 or $10 or $X, and that the labor cost to assemble that jersey is $Y, but after that it gets pretty difficult to understand where the remaining cost $Z comes from. That cost, manufacturers will tell you, is a combination of 'research', 'marketing', and other 'overhead costs', but is it really appropriate for them to expect us to blindly trust them when they tell us all of that is worth $20? $30? $100? How do we know they're not just playing loose and fast with those numbers in order to pad their profits when sales are strong or pay their staff when sales are weak? These $Z costs are huge in the MTB clothing industry (and to a limited extent the MTB industry in general) compared to others. Of course that's partially justified, given relatively small companies and small volumes of sales. But I think a lot of us wonder if this model is fundamentally broken, and dream about what would happen if someone came onto the scene offering no-frills products at a drastically cheaper price. I have a hunch that, given the opportunity to gain momentum, such an approach could blow the existing companies out of the water.

Results: DH World Cup, Fort William - Finals
What a bunch of neanderthals on this site... Heath was the only DNF, how many riders do you think ran procore without a problem? Pinkbike is bizarre, you have people that resist things like Boost, 650b, and Procore harder than white South Africans resisted ending apartheid, then a prototype Ohlins fork shows up and these same people are shouting "I'M MORTGAGING MY HOUSE FOR ONE!" Do you all hate on mainstream tech because you think it makes you cool and edgy?

Video: Lourdes World Cup Race Day Highlights
Watching the finals replay, there's a specific jump on the bottom section not much more than 15 sec from the finish - it's awkward as it's a lip with a flat 40 meter section afterwards (if you guys can't pin down what I'm saying let me know, I can specify a time in the replay that shows it). It seems like basically everyone bottoms out on that flat landing, except for Gwin - he looks like he's barely using half his travel. I think you're right - looking at how his suspension was acting on this Lourdes run, it seems uncannily similar to how it acted on his crazy 2012 Val di Sole run where he won by over 7 seconds.

Welcome to the Jungle - Enduro World Series, Round 1 - Rotorua
Digging the high-res pics @mattwragg, they fill a lot more width on my 2560x1440 monitor than the usual photo posts. I'm confused then, why when you click on the photos do you only get an 'original' or max res of 1600x1067?

You're wrong @FriedRys, the 'to do' verb in loganjensen's sentence refers to 'feet', which is a plural noun, so 'do' is the correct conjugation. 'His' in that sentence acts as an adjective to the noun 'feet', even though 'his' is technically a "possessive pronoun".
