Mostly ride trail and decent at that. Not great at DJ but love it. Work in an office and that sucks, but I have plenty of time to ride. I like bikes, I like traveling, I like unusual things and people.

Behind the Build: Preparing for Black Sage with Kyle Jameson and Carson Storch - Video
@davidgilbert28: we've got some excellent riding in AZ, some of it in and around PHX. South Mountain has some serious tech in National, Geronimo and Holbert trail, is the largest municipal park in the country, and is smack dab in the middle of the city. Fun very fast XC loops throughout the valley, K Trail at Gold Canyon being a fav of mine. The valley is ringed with mountains and there's riding spots at all of them, some better than others. But - just a 1.5 hour north and you're in Sedona. Two hours and you're in Flagstaff and the SF Peaks, with summer temps in the 80s. Both areas are the bee's knees.

Does It Matter Where Your Bike Was Built? - Pinkbike Poll
@Enzyme: Props to Comparative Advantage! Goods should be produced in the most efficient way in the most efficient place. Erecting barriers to this will result in lower quality and higher cost.

Counterpoint: Do We Really Need E-Bikes?
Go ahead, show up at SoMo trails in Phoenix with your ebike. You'll leave with a chunk of SoMo granite sticking out of your helmet and your bike at the bottom of a cliff.

The Coastal Crew: Skeptical - Video
Keep your f***ing motorcycles off our trails. They will result in lost access to trails in the western US. This video is a great reason to never buy from spesh. I hope the dudes enjoy spending the (likely not very large) check they got for this and put some of it in to trail advocacy in areas where the ability to ride great single-track took hard work to achieve.

Senate Passes Outdoor REC Act - One Step Closer to Cycling's Inclusion in the GDP
@togood2die: given you think it's coherent to be an anarchist and a conservative (who conserves what and why without a state? there is no private property without a state, ect) it's not surprising you have no clue what UNESCO actually is. The grand canyon would be an open pit uranium mine without the federal government. That said, I also think this is good and don't associate bikes with hippies either, so we should be friends.
