Thanks for the review Henry! It's always a pleasure to get your opinion on our products. Just to let you guys know; we build all our wheels in Ireland and if anyone is looking for a higher or lower spoke tension, 3x or even a different hole count we are more than happy to accommodate this for anyone. We have spent a lot of time trying to find the perfect tension and balance with wheels and out conclusion thus far; it is almost impossible! Every rider has their preferred feel & ride quality, and we pride ourselves on offering almost every option for every rider. At the start of the season, we did test out a 32H front wheel with team rider Greg Callaghan but he preferred the compliance of the 28H front wheel, and he's been riding the same wheels tested with many podium finishes + a few rides to the top spot. Last season when wrenching for Phil Atwill, he actually asked me to lower the tension on the front wheel so much so I was worried the wheel would flex so much it would hit the forks! An amazing rider with tonnes of talent, but again, it all comes down to rider preference. On the other hand, Liam Moynihan loves the feel of a super stiff wheelset due to the direct feel it gives, his wheel of choice is our Carbon AM's. What a bike! I have been lucky enough to have worked with Phil and the bike and gotten to know all the little tricks Phil uses to give him that little bit extra. We are also stoked to have the opportunity to work with Phil and the team to develop a rim that does the job, and then some! Phil and the team have been helping us design our new DH/Enduro rim that will be out very soon!!

Hey @danielfloyd, We have always had one goal and that's to be the best pound for pound wheels on the market, and none beats us for the level of technology you get with our wheels. We have been in the industry for a longgg time with other brands and have brought all our knowledge and experience into creating SILT.

@Takaya94: All our product is manufactured in Taiwan and the majority of the wheels are built by us in Northern Ireland, the new range will be hand built by us.

@kyleluvsdh: Yes! The team will be running them first and we should have them out this summer!

@MartyMcfly2810: Hi Marty, Dan here from SILT MTB. I'm incredibly sorry to hear this mate. Our range for 2023 has completely transformed and we'd love to try and get you back on board! Our carbon wheels are bombproof and one of our lads (Liam Moynihan) finished 2nd at the Megavalanche last year on the same Carbon AMs he’s been riding all year. For alloy, we've seriously beefed these up and we've a new patented alloy rim technology that's 10% stronger and 6% lighter than the same rim forging without the patented design.
