Big Wheels, Big Claims: 32" Wheels Are Actually Faster (According to Science)
Made the same decision on my 5010 myself! And I can do X-ups and whips so much easier with the 27.5 than I can with a 29 front wheel.
Such a fun bike!

Big Wheels, Big Claims: 32" Wheels Are Actually Faster (According to Science)
My biggest takeaway is that the word "significant" was used 15 times in this write up to describe a 2.5% difference.
In racing that means something, in everyday riding it's insignificant. Notably with the geometry changes that will make the riding more than 2.5% less fun... just like the move to 29" wheels.

Propain Sresh SL Review: A Mid-Power eMTB That Doesn’t Ride Like a Tank
Having ridden SL (40#), mid-power and fatties (50+#), if you like the handling and playfulness of a regular mountain bike the SL is the way to go. If you enjoy a ground sucking riding experience full fat ebike is the way to go. Mid power splits the difference. The mid-weight Santa Cruz Vala is surprisingly nimble for it's weight and can ride planted as well, they did an excellent job on ride quality. But something like an Orbea Risa SL is going to feel more nimble and playful.
I personally prefer a light and playful ride, I find planted bikes dull.
