Course Preview: Smooth Sailing - Albstadt World Cup XC 2019
Jesus... That's pretty pathetic for WC XC course. Makes my local XC trails look super gnarly by comparison. I normally like watching XC, this feels like it's going to be watching a gravel race or something.

Must Watch: Dylan Stark's 2018 MTB Street Edit - Madness
Been keeping up with Stark on Youtube for a while now. Dude is criminally under sponsored for how he rides. He's nuts on a Bmx.

Field Test: Specialized S-Works Stumpjumper 29
I'm sure it's a great bike. But jesus christ...at that price point the world is your oyster. There are WAY cooler bikes that cost WAY less. Spend the leftover cash on plane tickets and hotel stays at exotic locations to ride.

Video: Spray, Huck & Pray
This is everything I want in a mountain bike video. Awesome riding while not taking itself too seriously. Thoroughly enjoyed.

2019 Racing Rumors: Gwin Off YT, Ratboy to Cannondale, & More
Would honestly love to see Gwin on Intense. Best American rider of all time on an American brand that isn't the big S.

Final Results: La Bresse DH World Cup 2018
Highlights of the race for me: Finn's pull-off mid air and Gwin's crazy sideways scrub thing.

Where's the New XTR? 8 Questions With Nick Murdick, Shimano MTB Product Manager
Say what you want about Shimano being slow to release new product. They may not be first to market, but when their shit comes out it's usually pretty refined and bomb proof. In my personal experience, Shimano products generally need the least maintenance and upkeep compared to other brands. Brakes in particular, I'm pretty sold for life on Shimano Saint, XT, and XTR. Just a perfect cross section of performance, reliability, and ease of repair.
