I honestly think bosch is the way forward, All the components are standardised, they arent specific to the model of bike, you want a different display? you plug it in using the exact same cable as the previous one. Your battery dies? you dont have to go to your specific brand's bike shop, go to any bosch shop and they will have the battery.
Bike specific e-bike parts are terrible and the industry needs to stop with them and just use manufacturers off the shelf components.
Charging for sure needs to be standardised though, we have a charging point at the top of one of our trail centers, but i have never seen anyone use it, cause who wants to bring a charger all the way up the hill, you change that to a standardised charger then you can leave it there, have lunch and get enough charge for an extra lap

@ratedgg13: Thats fair, but 17 months of suspension when we don't know that he dodged any of the actual tests, for all we know he was just late in submitting his quarterly schedule 3 times. Seems like a harsh penalty for not testing positive. Sure there have to be consequences and if you miss 3 tests I can see where a ban should come, but being late submitting your quarterly whereabouts seems a bit harsh.

@ShredlyMcShredface: I dont want to take away from the fact hes a great rider and he may be one of the best bike handlers when it comes to CX, XC & road, but in comparison to DH riders he looks like a baby.
And to continue that analogy, if he looks like a baby we all look like sperm.

@joebiden: This was indeed a common mindset, when coming to schools in NZ foreign students had to take tests to put them in the appropriate classes, but it was common for Chinese students to pay someone to take the tests for them because they wanted to get the highest grade. I had to develop a tool to photograph whoever was taking the test, and check for any external keyboards etc to make sure the person taking the test was the person being graded.
