Pinkbike Poll: What Would You Upgrade On Your Current Mountain Bike?
My tires are fine, but there is nothing as satisfying as the first ride on new rubber. I am always willing to upgrade to new tires. My wallet isn't as keen on the notion.

New 2018 Focus JAM2 Plus Pro with the T.E.C. Pack to double battery to 760 Watt Hours. The bike has a 380 WH battery in the bike which lets it go about 20 miles depending on how much the rider weighs and how much climbing happens. But adding the T.E.C. Pack allows you to go twice as far. This bike has 27.5x2.8 tires and Shimano Di2 shifting. The Di2 shifting works in conjunction with Shimano's STEPS motor so it lets off power while shifting to reduce unnecessary wear and clunking through gears. This bike can handle 29" wheels for a comfortable commute. It's super fun on the dirt as it sits. This bike is new but has about 4 miles on it from people test riding it on the road around our shop. The frame size is a Medium but sits more upright and tall than a lot of medium sized mountain bikes. Tires are set up tubeless and it's ready to go for riding on the trail, cruising around town, or commuting. Let me know if you have any other questions.

This fork came off of an XL 2017 Pivot Mach 6. It has a 15x100 front axle. It was serviced this spring with new wipers and oil. The stanchions are in great shape with no scratches or scuffs. The lowers have some cosmetic scratches. There are no chunks missing. The steerer tube is cut at about 9 1/4". The Mach 6 had a tall head tube. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

Kali Protectives Launches New Maya & Alpine Helmets
Angles and creases make a full-face look sleek and rad, but a round helmet isn't going to jerk your head around as much when it sliding through the dirt after an unfortunate mishap. I've been wearing Kali since 2011 because I was sold on the safety features and I feel most of them fit my head better than other helmets. I was a huge fan of the original Maya and am sold on the idea of LDL. It makes as more sense in my mind than a piece of suspended plastic to give you a slip plane. I'm down with the double ratchet over a dial also.

This Switchblade is in great shape. I just put new wheels and tires on it. The drivetrain is pretty well new with a SRAM 10-42t cassette. I didn't like the jump on the Shimano cassette from the 37t up to the 46t but also wanted the top end of the 10t. Wheels are DT Swiss XM551 40mm internal laced to X01 hubs. Tires are Maxxis Rekon 3C Maxxterra front and rear. Aside from the wheels and cassette, the bike is the stock XT/XTR Pro build. It does have the Phoenix 35mm carbon handle bar also. I do have 29" wheels that I could swap if you want it but don't want the plus wheels. Let me know if I didn't answer any of your questions.

This Switchblade is in great shape. I just put new wheels and tires on it. The drivetrain is pretty well new with a Sunrace 11-46t cassette. I didn't like the jump on the Shimano cassette from the 37t up to the 46t. Wheels are DT Swiss XM481 30mm internal laced to X01 hubs. Tires are Maxxis Minion DHF up front and DHR II in the rear. Aside from a Race Face stem, and the wheels and cassette, the bike is the stock XT/XTR Pro build. It does have the Phoenix 35mm carbon handle bar also.
