I have the opposite; all climbs are fire road, basically. I actually enjoy it when they do some logging and the fire roads take a beating. I'd love some singletrack/tech climbs!

Nobody at 5dev has seen SQLabs Innerbarends. The solution already exists, and it doesn't require new brake levers.

Poll: What Would You Change About Bike Geometry?
@me2menow: unless the rise of the bars is parallel to the head tube, bar rise affects stem length. If bar rise is parallel to the head tube (instead of ~vertical), bar rise affects reach. The taller the rise, the more side effects from adjusting roll. These issues never disappear, but they're more manageable with lower rise bars. I think it would be better for most riders to be using 0-40mm rise instead of 20-60mm.

Tyres. Let me run my tyres at my pressure (or non-pneumatic system with equal or better performance) without constant need for vigilance when I'm riding. This will make the biggest difference to my riding, and a decent difference to my wallet.
I'm assuming that if the tyres don't flat, the rims don't dent/break, though...
