Brendan Fairclough Releases Statement After Finals Run at Red Bull Rampage 2024
There is definitely an OG-Bonus / shady judging going on. People booing and commentators joking about about the judges being ‘out of tomato range’ should be a wake-up call for red bull and the event coordinators. New judges, new criteria next year! Fairclough got robbed worse than Norbs. Brendan, your lines are the gnarliest, most wicked interpretation of the mountain, bar none. Keep doing you, but maybe consider not coming back next year… you’re literally the only reason I still watch this event.

How Are Fans Watching Mountain Biking? - State of the Sport 2024
I used to religiously watch every single uci mtb race (mens/womens, DH and XC, Inc short track etc) every season, participate in PB fantasy league, etc. As soon as red bull left and WBD coverage was pay-only (and sucked), I stopped. Now I follow cathro, moimoi, and wyn.
Why TF should I pay for something of a lower quality than what used to be great and free?
WBD can get bent. $#!++¥.

Pinkbike Poll: Center Lock or 6-Bolt Brake Rotor Mounting?
If bolts were a better option than a splined connection for high shear interfaces then crank spindles would be smooth and arms would attach via through-bolts, and cassettes would also mount to the freehub body with bolts.
If bolts were better, splines wouldn’t exist.

This is super rad and I hope to see more women racing these events in the future. Gracey, congrats and we all want to see you (and everyone else) healthy and racing in Wales after the UCI season.
Given this is the first year there’s been a second hardline venue outside Wales, ever, somebody should edit either the title or the first paragraph of this article; I’d argue that hardline Tasmania is not ‘infamous’ yet. Just a thought.
