Update: Hans Rey Hit By Another Break In, More Bikes Stolen
@Pisgah4life: dammit, you’re right! face palm... I am going to blame the lack of quotation marks instead of myself though, it’s easier that way...

Pinkbike Poll: How Much Does a Bike's Climbing Performance Matter to You?
@Waki: I got myself a remote handlebar switch and I will never go back. Anyone who doesn’t switch is either a masochist or never sees an incline steeper than 1%. And that’s not just for fire roads either.. anyone who has ridden a hardtail through a technical uphill section knows what I’m talking about..

TRP's Less Expensive Four-Piston Brake - Interbike 2017
@jojotherider1977: I have found the trick to moving the pads closer to the rotor as a cheat pad-contact adjustment is to pull the wheel out and insert a feeler gauge. A brake disc is roughly 1.8 mm so I throw in a feeler gauge of say 1.4 mm and pull the lever tight. If that’s not close enough I tried again with 1 mm. Once I toss the wheel back and I get a much shorter lever throw (until the pads wear a bit and I have to do it all over again)... Of course this all assumes that your rotor is laser straight..
