Bike Check: Iago Garay's Santa Cruz Megatower - EWS Pietra Ligure 2020
@slimjimihendrix: True. On the other hand, it really depends on the area you ride. Where I live (Sierra de Guadarrama, Madrid) and with my weight (90 kg with gear), you'd be changing tires and rims every 5 weeks with an Exo or Exo + carcass, even if you weren't riding particularly hard. The terrain is just so rocky and the wheels take a massive beating. I ride with DH casing + Cushcore, which feels like climbing with a Jamon Iberico strapped to your swingarm, but gives me enormous peace of mind on the way down. When I ride elsewhere, it's hard to switch to a thinner casing because it feels so incredibly different from what I'm used to ride.

First Look: Endura's Updated MT500 Waterproof Line
I'm on my second MT500 jacket in 2 and a half years. The first was replaced under warranty because it was leaking water everywhere and literally falling apart after 9 months. Bear in mind, I live in Spain, it doesn't rain very often over here. Customer service was awesome and gave me a brand new jacket, which stopped repelling rainwater after 4 rides. And yes, I did use Endura's own re-proofer. To be honest, I didn't have a great experience with their products but their customer service is good.

Video: Remy Metailler Rides the Gnarliest Lines on the Shore with Steve Vanderhoek
@monsieurgage: In Remy's own words, he does't wear a full face helmets on this sort of features, because it distorts his perception of speed and perspective, making him feel less confident. He wears full face for high speed stunts on his dh rig.

Holy shit, it's unbelievably dry! In my 12 years living in London I was cycling almost exclusively in the Surrey Hills and I've never experienced such dry conditions.
