Connor Hudson & Jake Hart Split Wins at British 4X Series Rounds 3 & 4
Absolutely this! I’ve loved being at the races so far this year and seeing all the 4X rigs! There’s a lot of variety from classic steel hardtails, modified trail bikes and a few purpose built bikes. Super cool, can’t wait for Afan!

Schwalbe British 4X Series Rounds 1 & 2: Chicksands Race Report
This was such an awesome event! I was there to spectate (and support Jake!) and had a blast. Good vibes, no bullshit, just racing mountain bikes. Chicksands was open to ride so I got a few cheeky laps in. Can’t recommend it enough. See you in Falmouth.

Schwalbe Reveals New Romy Tire, UltraSoft Compound & Radial Tacky Chan
100% I’ll be sticking a radial TC on the front for summer as soon as I can get my hands on one. I agree, very similar to the DHR just more better. Rolls well, grips well, best all round tyre I’ve ever ridden.

Brendan Fairclough Signs with SRAM & RockShox
“Set is hard as fuck and ride faster until it feels good” that was Mr Fairclough, right? One of my fave quotes. I’m probably misremembering it

Canyon Patent Shows Adjustable Main Pivot & Anti-Squat
@hamncheez: yeah…wasn’t really thinking about the patent element with my earlier comment. I agree with you.

Canyon Patent Shows Adjustable Main Pivot & Anti-Squat
I can see the merit in this. Leaving aside the genre of bike for a second, pivot location/ chainring size in most designs has a big affect on anti-squat. Everyone is different and everyone rides different terrain, etc, etc. Riders with serious elevation outside their door are effectively riding a different bike to those here in Nottingham (or even over in the Peak District). Priority on chainring size is always gonna be ‘can I get up the hills I need to’ and the affect on the suspension kinematic could go either way.
