Mountain Bikes Don’t Need to Be Complicated: 5 Places Where Less is More
@SeanC1: Buying a set with an uncut hose would cost you more work and time because you're going to have to resize it anyway. Which means sizing and cutting the hose and then new barb, new olive, bleed (top bleed if you're smart/lucky and like shimano). So really, buying an already cut hose is saving you a step. It also takes all of 5 minutes to size, cut, reinstall, and bleed a hose anyway so you should just send it

Formula Announces New CURA X Brake
@TheOriginalTwoTone: between wandering bite complaints and the free stroke nonsense, people seem to just not understand how to use/maintain shimano brakes. More for me

Transition Sentinel Mixed

$3700 USD
Frame: 2020 Transition Sentinel - Size M. Currently Setup as a mullet with the Cascade link so travel is 146mm. I talked to the guys at Cascade at length and got this shock with a custom stroke/e2e length to retain the geo, and it definitely goes. Wheels/Hubs - Industry 9 Enduro S 29” F, 27.5” R; Industry 9 Hydra. Ikyk, purchased June 2021. Fork: Rockshox Lyrik Ultimate 160mm. Scratched a stanchion last year but filled and smoothed to the point where your fingers and your seals could never tell. Fork probably has 25 hours on it so will need a service this season if you ride a lot. Shock: Ohlins TTX22m w/ Cane Creek Vault Progressive 400-488lbs spring. Purchased June 2021, probably only ~10 hours on it. I fuckin love this thing. Brakes: R - Shimano Saint; F - Shimano slx 4 piston Levers: Shimano slx master cylinders with Flo Motorsports unbreakable levers. These Flo levers are great in my opinion but I probably have a set of the regular levers I could put on. Cranks: Shimano Deore Pedals: OneUp Composite. Bashguard: OneUp Bashguard/Chainguide combo. Shifter, Derailleur, and Cassette are all Shimano slx 12 spd. Cassette is the 10-51. Dropper: PNW Rainier 150mm w/ Loam Lever. Bars: Deity Stem: DMR 35mm Tires: R - Maxxis High Roller II, 27.5x2.3”; F - Maxxis DHR II, 29x2.4”. Would prefer local (potentially even regional, New England isn’t that big) buyer, but will box and ship at cost to buyer if required. Feel free to message me with questions.
