I think there's also lots of jealousy that adds fuel to the sexism. Especially in action sports, where there's a smaller gap between "expert amateur" and "pro" level riding, and where you have pre-teen boys (and recently, some girls) who go faster, go bigger, and do harder tricks than women who compete and win on an international stage, already inseucre losers at their keyboard feel the need to voice how they feel like women are getting rewarded for doing "less". They're too bitter and insecure to realize that the generational improvement for women is exponentially accelerated by these current women fighting to demonstrate what's possible. The more resources and opportunities that are given to the women, the faster the gap closes.

Must Watch: 'The Come Up' with Kaidan Ingersoll
As mentioned in a comment below mine, Kaidan is heir to a big chunk of the Ingersol Rand fortune (IR is a public company that did over $7 billion in revenue last year). All of the shots in this video that aren't at Highland are from his backyard compound in Falmouth. So, in this case, he was obviously into bikes early and he started basically living at Highland (and going to their camps, using their progression facilities, coaches, etc.) when he was a kid, plus had the resources to build and continue to improve his backyard compound where he could practice every day onto both dirt a wood chips.

@SeanC1: Buying a set with an uncut hose would cost you more work and time because you're going to have to resize it anyway. Which means sizing and cutting the hose and then new barb, new olive, bleed (top bleed if you're smart/lucky and like shimano). So really, buying an already cut hose is saving you a step. It also takes all of 5 minutes to size, cut, reinstall, and bleed a hose anyway so you should just send it
