Video: Norco Celebrates 60 Years of Business with 'We've Been Here Since the Beginning'
I’m confused by Norco’s brand image. The race team has Picasso-like artwork, the website text/colors are 2010s movie-hacker style, yet the bikes have subdued colors and super handsome lines.

First Ride: Spot Mayhem 140 - A Trail Bike With a Titanium Leaf Spring
@Bluefire: I have had similar experience, but that’s mostly with aluminum rotor bolts. With Torx, there’s a benefit on button head bolts, since you get more material towards the center axis of the fastener (there ends up being more material up the shaft of your tool to engage against). But, I feel those Torx fasteners have more of a round profile at the bottom of the feature, allowing your tool to pivot when bottomed out and load the faces incorrectly. Triple square stuff on my VW drives me nuts. 12 tiny stress risers :)

A moment of silence for 27.5 front wheels... Man, I miss seeing bikes with yellow Mavic hoops from 10-15 years ago.

Norco Sight | New Build!

$2350 USD
Selling my newly built-up Norco Sight. I have two rides on the bike and prefer the feel of 27.5" wheels. It's configured to eat up miles and bumps, with robust parts throughout. Bike is best fit for 5'10" - 6'1" riders. The tires, chain, cassette, wheelset, brake rotors, bottom bracket, and GRIP damper all have 40mi on them. Please read the full description before reaching out with questions. This listing is thorough so you have all of the information :) HTA: 63.8* Dropper: 210mm STA: 77* RAD: 33.3" Weight: 35.5lb (with pedals and Z1 coil fork) Travel: 160/160 (55mm stroke shock) Configurations: Save $100 by swapping current shock to Rockshox Super Deluxe (52.5mm, not Tractive Tuned). Frame: Size Large 29" Norco Sight Carbon. Fully ride wrapped! *No longer has Cascade Components link* Bearings re-greased and moving smoothly. Some paint wear on inside of chainstay from wheel deflection. MRP bash guard / chain guide. Suspension: Front - Marzocchi Bomber Z1 Coil, 160mm. New GRIP damper. Firm spring (also have medium). Fox Kabolt axle (saves 70g/0.15lb). Has a scuff on spring side stanchion that has been smoothed and filled. Rear - Rockshox Super Delute Ultimate with Vorsprung Tractive tune (170-190lb aggressive rider). 185x55mm gives 155mm of travel. Brakes: Code RSC, 200mm rotors, Cascade Components lever links (give Shimano-like engagement), aftermarket red pads (MTX or Galfer, I can't remember). Wheels/tires: Stan's Flow S1 front, Flow S2 rear. Rear wheel has 8-degree, 4-pawl "e-sync" hubs with CrMo axle. Built to take a beating, without excessive weight. IRC Tanken 29x2.3 Enduro tires. 60 TPI, plenty of grip. Drivetrain: Shimano XT 11s: Bar-mount XT shifter, long-cage XT derailleur, ZTTO lightweight steel 9-46T cassette, 175mm cranks with 32T alloy chainring. Plenty of range, with a tried-n-true drivetrain configuration. Cockpit: OneUp 210mm dropper post with Tranz-X v1 lever. Spank Vibrocore 31.8x800mm bars with 30mm rise. 35mm reach Turnbull stem. WTB Volt saddle, 142mm width. Disclaimers: 1) Fork has a scuff on spring side stanchion, as noted above. 2) Brakes have ~50% pad life, but 95% rotor life. 3) Dropper has ~5mm of squish when fully extended and with weight added. I verified air pressure and that the air cartridge nut is secure. 4) Does not come with the pictured grips, nor pedals. I'll install some decent grips for ya! Thanks for looking!
