the landing was to soft. We were packing it for 3 days and we thought that it was good to go...BUT it was way too soft. ofcourse i could do it better but actually you see from the front side that i was good but it won't change anything. There were wholes like after explosion in that landing. Cheers

Don't have any advice specific to the collar bone, but I can say that whatever rehab exercises they give you to do, DO THEM, and as soon as possible. Broke my patella a few years ago, was lazy with the rehab exercises, and now my right quadricep is still only 2/3 the size of the other. No excuses, do the exercises! It will probably hurt to an extent, and it may seem stupid and pointless. But do them! You'll regret it for a long time if you don't. Heal up quick, man!

Well I was back on the bike within two months or so? If I were you, I'd start a thread in the forum asking for advice/information on your specific injury; I really can't say from experience what to expect from a broken collarbone, sorry mate. How long ago did it happen? How does it feel so far?

well it happened two days ago i was building a pretty big jump then when i was done i wanted to test it and the jump made me do a half frontflip and i was about 6-9 feet in the air then i crashed on my shoulder so i guess the jump was bad build xD and i feel much better now and i can move my arm but not so much but its still broken. thanks for the advice i will open a thread in the forum. :/ @six66

PrognosisEdit
Healing time varies based on age, health, complexity and location of the break as well as the bone displacement. For adults, a minimum of 2–6 weeks of sling immobilization is normally employed to allow initial bone and soft tissue healing, teenagers require slightly less, children can often achieve the same level in two weeks. During this period, patients may remove the sling to practice passive pendulum Range of Motion (ROM) exercises to reduce atrophy in the elbow and shoulder, but they are minimized to 15-20 degrees off vertical. Depending on the severity of fracture, a person can begin to use the arm if comfortable with movement and no pain results. The final goal is to be able to have full range of motion with no pain; therefore, if any pain exists, it is best to allow for more recovery time. Depending on severity of the fracture, athletes involved in contact sports may need a longer period of rest to heal to avoid re-fracturing bone. A person should be able to return unrestricted to any sports or work by 3 months after the injury.
