What really caught my eye is the multiple rear end positions that can be adjusted based on your rubber volume/girth/diameter preferences.

Anything over about 10mph is when aerodynamics play the biggest role in drag, second after rolling resistance. They present a minimal weight penalty with a huge gain over long distances, plus you change your body position a little bit and use different muscles. The leaders really need aerobars more than anyone though, just because they don't get to take advantage of a large pace line. I agree though, they look out of place on a mountain bike.

I raced for them in 2014. If you ride a lot it's worth it to spend a substantial amount of time dedicated to recovering your body properly. Elevated Legs are badass and worthwhile investment if you like to use your legs to do stuff.

Absolutely. The Geo overhaul on XC bikes is long overdue. I've always said that modern XC bikes need to ride like short travel enduro bikes...now they are, these bikes are wildly capable and more fun than ever.
