Combining Parts From Vivo, SRAM, & Shimano to Create the Ultimate Mechanical Drivetrain
man the previous gen xt and slx drivetrains (i even like the brakes but people dont seem to gel) were just so unreal, every time i see a new drivetrain it looks great but why do we need to spend more than around ~$600 for a full xt drivetrain that functions perfectly? we solved the problem already

makes a lot of sense to me. bigger bike that would rip whistler, but you could still pedal to the spooky valley trail stuff if you wanted to. why not have a dropper and big cassette? Not ideal for racing dh but perfectly workable in the park

Are we really saying that SLX brakes make "a hell of a racket"? I have slx on all my bikes and there is a perceptible rattle for sure, but only if i am off the bike and really looking for it. Great brakes for the price imo
