7 Strange & Sexy Bikes From the Pinkbike BuySell
@smartfartbart: There is one for sale in Singapore with a Shiver for around 7500 USD. You could go there for a trip, go back with a badass bike and still save a lot of money.

Matt Beer's 2024 Predictions
Good thing I recently bought a 2005 Shiver as my daily. I'll be ahead of the curve when everybody and their dog will ride an USD fork. Don't want to get left behind in this MTB world.

The Myotragus Dorothea is a 200mm High Pivot Bike With a Gearbox
I was just checking out the frame a few months ago, I'd totally buy it. Finally something that checks almost all of my boxes and is not 20 years old (unobtainable).

Five Things We (Sometimes) Miss About Older Bikes
@8a71b4: I run a brand-new Onyx 135×10 hub with Sram X01 DH 7-speed (11-speed spacing). I agree. Not sure if I agree on the mechanical brakes, I never had them, but it sparked an interesting idea in my head. My Gustavs pop my eyeballs out every time I pull the brake lever too hard, though.

Pinkbike Poll: Which Tools Do You Own?
I have recently experienced working with both one day apart. Truing stand is much more comfortable to use, but it's probably not worth the cost for a typical cyclist. Still don't regret the purchase, but next time I will be building a wheelset will be 10 years later.

Video: Jackson Goldstone's Final Turn Crash from the Val di Sole DH World Cup 2022
@mitochris: He lost shit ton of time rolling to the finish line with broken handlebars. He would have easily finished 3rd if his handlebars held up in the crash.
