I'm quite happy on the current XL too. I'm glad to see it's not drastically larger on the new version. I'll be rolling on my V1 for a while more, but will definitely consider the V2.

The founder of Forbidden, Owen Pemberton, worked for Norco for many years. The V1 Druid came out in 2018 or 2019, and many of Norco's bikes shared similar characteristics around that time.

XL Chromag Surface
$325 USDXL Chromag Surface Frame. Chris Dekerf BC handmade and painted frame. Bought new in 2017, this is the 2015/2016 version. 12x142 rear hub spacing, internal dropper routing for 31.6mm seat posts. 29er only. Frame is used and has a number of scuffs and scratches in the iridescent metal flake black paint. There is one dent from a rock in the downtube, has been there for 4 years with no issues. Includes currently installed Works Components 2 degrees angle headset, bringing the head angle to about 65.5 with a 150mm fork. Build up a fast fun hardtail. I've run this geared and as a single speed with a tensioner. Would make a great aggressive bikepacking set up. Can include a 12x142 DT Swiss 350 rear hub for $50 more. Any questions please ask. @kimosabe621: It seems like a lot of the venues are set up in a way that many of the stages end at about the same place so the riders are able to easily replenish food and water.
