The 100 km marathon race went well. My body however feels old and useless today. The danish downhill cup is only 2 weeks away - I'm excited!

Pinkbike Poll: Olympic Downhill?
I have to be honest; I don't see downhill mountainbiking within the olympics and I don't get why is so important to some people. I doubt that the olympics would have a massively positive effect on the sport. Something is lost each and every time some (new)organisation pulls down new rulesets over the sport.
Is it really necessary to be in the olympics to be a "real" athlete?
