The wheel size chart is really just a reflection of what brands are selling, not necessarily what people want. If you could still buy full 27.5 bikes from all brands I am sure the numbers would be much higher. Full 27.5 still rocks.

There are actually two apps. The Virtual Remote App and the Service Assistant App. Only the latter has a subscription, the former does everything you need for free. There really is no need to use the Service Assistant App unless you are someone setting up multiple different bikes with different setups; it's not doing anything a notepad and pencil can't.

I will stick my neck out, and risk ridicule, to say that I really like my Slacker. There are two apps for the system. Only one requires a subscription; the other is free and does everything you need to use the tool. I use mine for setting up sag and ride height on my moto and adventure bikes. I don’t use it on my MTBs, as they all have air shocks and I can simply measure o-ring movement to get the sag dialed in. However, if I had a coil shock, I could see the Slacker being just as useful as it is for the motorbikes. I'd also add that they are frequently sold at significant a discount, even today they are 20% off with free shipping.
