Well i guess calling it RAMPAGE met it's conqueror. Turning the mountain to a slopestyle trick lab, leaving nothing for pure freeride the way it all started back in the days. The build teams got bigger as the gaps for slopestyle tricks I always enjoyed more runs that slash through the mountain with minimum natural effect. The latest Brendon run, Gee Atherton DH speeding in 2010. Tyler Klassen's insane drop in 2002 blew my mind back then. Eventually it's a show, and a damn good one! but the times between pure good freeride runs get bigger. Maybe different heats are in the future of this event.
