Tragic News - Stevie Smith Passes Away
This is just tragic. Stevie was one of the first mountain bikers to ever truly inspire me with his iconic segment in Seasons. He went on to become one of the greatest downhillers on the planet, but I will always remember him as that unbelievably talented kid, racing his Mum to the bottom of the mountain with the dream of being number 1. You did it Stevie, now rest in peace.

In Memoriam: Kelly McGarry
This is so, so sad. He was a true legend who encapsulated everything mountain biking is about. He will be sorely missed. RIP Kelly

Specialized Big Hit 3 09 - Great Condition, Upgraded

$1000 GBP
Specialized Big Hit 3 2009 - TAKING OFFERS Bought this bike just over a year ago but hasn't been ridden very much due to injury and other commitments and am selling because I'm learning to drive soon and could use the money. The bike is in really good condition and has handled everything ive thrown at it with ease. There are some scratches on the forks and frame as you would expect from a used bike but the damage is ONLY aesthetic, everything mechanical works perfectly. Upgraded some stock parts that simply weren't up to the job including bars and stem (still have original bars) so in my opinion rides a lot better than when new. Spec is as follows : Rear Shock: Fox DHX 4.0 coil, 8.5x2.5 inch, Rebound adjust, ProPedal Fork: Rockshox Domain 318, 180mm travel 20mm thru-axle with Maxle 360, tapered steerer Rear Derailleur:SRAM X-9, 9-speed Chainset: Truvativ Hussefelt, 170mm Chain guide & Bash guard: e13 SRS (upgrade) Bottom Bracket:Truvativ Howitzer XR, Cassette: Shimano HG50, 9-speed, 11-34 Tooth Range Pedals: Superstar Nano Tech Flats (upgrade) Front Brake: Custom Avid Elixir R hydraulic disc 203mm rotor Rear Brake: Custom Avid Elixir R, Hydraulic disc 185mm rotor Handlebars: RaceFace Atlas 1/2" rise cut down to 745mm (upgrade) Stem: Thomson 50mm (upgrade) Headset:1-1/8 inch Threadless, Cartridge bearing Grips: Sunline Lock on (upgrade) Rims: Custom DT Swiss F550 Front Hub: Specialized Hi-Lo disc, 20mm thru-axle, 36 hole Rear Hub: Specialized disc, Sealed cartridge bearing Front Tyre: Specialized Clutch Frame Size : Medium Rear Tyre: Specialized Chunder (also have maxxis wet screams 2.5 dual ply super tacky front & rear only used twice for extra charge £30) PM me any questions you have and I'll do my best to answer quickly Open to and will consider any offers £30 for postage Cheers for looking.
