Testing a 32" Mega Mullet Downhill Bike Against the Clock
@BurtMcBurburt: ya but to be a true grim donut it would have to push past what’s out there and look ahead. I propose 36/20. Enough with compromises.

Trek Fuel EX+ Review: The Mid-Power eMTB That’ll Make Most Riders Happy
I’ve been mostly against e-bikes since the start. To me, putting a motor on a bicycle is not just an advancement of bicycle tech the way a drivetrain, suspension, or a dropper post are. None of these inherently add power to the bike that doesn’t come from me. In fact they all made the bike heavier and require more power from me to move around but I like the benefit so the trade off makes sense. Never thought of myself as a purest but I guess in that sense I am, a human power purist. That’s the magic of a bicycle to me. Of course going for a run/walk/hike my total system weight is lighter, but adding the weight of a bicycle actually makes most travel easier despite the additional weight. I know it’s just simple science and physics but it’s a marvel, almost like magic.

Starling Announces First Production 32/29 Mullet - The Big Bird
@mackster23: my next XC bike will be 32” front and back hopefully. I’m 6’5” so it makes sense. When 29” wheels came out I wasn’t interested in anything smaller. 26 seemed silly afterwards and even the step back to 27.5 felt like a step in the wrong direction.

The Haute Route: Chasing the Spine of the Alps from Verbier to Zermatt
Glad I wasn’t the only one disappointed when I realized I was tricked into reading an ebike ad. Lost a bunch of respect. Who gets nervous about a climb on an ebike?!!!

First Ride: BikeYoke's 3D-Printed Sagma Saddle Lineup
I like that this saddle is RV rated. I always thought there was a gap in the market so I’m glad to see someone finally recognize it! Too bad it’s only for 2” receivers though!
