Mavic Deemax - Return of the King?
@Euskafreez: Didn't know Michelin originally came up with those thread patterns, the 16 and 24 look quite similar to the Minion and Highroller indeed.

Mavic Deemax - Return of the King?
Nice advertorial, PB. I wonder if they've still got the same hub internals with that stupid bearing preload system that had to be retightened after every ride.

Dakine Builder Pack - Review
A friend of mine uses a bob yak to lug around tools, not the most enjoyable way to the trails but I can't imagine having a big old chainsaw, spade etc in your backpack being much better.

Male and female velcro sandwiched works a charm for me, really cushions the chain.

XC World Cup Round 4, Lenzerheide - Course Preview With Tracy Moseley
@jclnv: looks like a ton of fun ideed, even on a trailbike. Sean Burns (google) might disagree with that statement about the drop though..

Cockpit Setups - Lenzerheide DH World Cup 2017
@ka-brap: exactly what I was going to say. I'm pretty short at 5'7 but can't get along with anything under 780. 800 felt ok but I'd shit my pants at woody sections. Other than that, I liked that Mondraker saying 'forward geometry' while everyone was running 45 or 50mm stems...including their team riders.

Pivot Phoenix DH Carbon - Review
Lots of parky people on Gamblers but that's probably because of their 'freeride' heavy team and Vink's recent media attention. Same goes IMO for those mx style roost guards, no real function on a pushbike but because Vink and co wear them you see tons of them at the parks.

Pivot Phoenix DH Carbon - Review
@mikekazimer: well the positive would be its straight lining qualities but a well designed bike can be lively (deliberately not saying nimble/playful) but able to plough through stuff at the same time IMO, or at least offer a very reasonable compromise.
