Video: Natural Dual Slalom on the New Commencal Meta SX

Austin and Dylan took to the hills of Northern California in some testing conditions, but armed with those two identical META SXs they made it look so easy, and a lot of fun! They also agreed that our META SX truly bridges the gap between a trail and a DH bike, which will make it easier for them to go back and forth once the season kicks off.

A playful, mini-SUPREME. A META that’s been SX-ED. Mission accomplished!

 @devin-m: the Kyle Staight bike? That was a hell of a bike! 4" travel an DH 83mm BB an 150 hub!!!! Alleays wanted one but, could never afford it Frown there was one on ebay recently, bike went for £1200 SO tempting but I'm allready paying for my Scout

 All other bike brands really need to take note.... Marketing is everything when it comes to selling bikes. Make constant videos making customers want to ride their bikes. (As well as offer quality customer support of course) There's a reason Commencal leads the direct to consumer market.

 Hey everyone, here’s an idea… how about we do more than complain about the changes to pb? Maybe we can all pick a day a day to not visit pb every week? Maybe throwback Thursday until they at least engage us in a conversation about the planned changes?

 It's simple, they didnt. Commencal rarely licenses the music in their edits.

 @benr33der: If it's just posted on YouTube without licensing the music, all that happens for most rights holders* is that they'll take any revenue generated from monetising the video. This then effectively pays them for the use of the song. Because Commencal are just using it as an advert to sell a bike, they don't need to worry about making money from views. This is why vloggers all seem to use the same generic music from low-cost/free licensing websites as that way they can retain any ad revenue - the views are what directly make them money, so they have to license the music they use. That's not the case for Commencal so they don't.



*Some rights holders/labels will choose different options, e.g. totally blocking videos, making it so videos won't be playable in certain countries, only allowing videos to be playable on desktop not mobile. They all seem to be coming around to the idea that more people viewing a video = more money for them, so deliberately restricting it is in some ways counterproductive.

 I have a 2020 META-TR SX. The bike is such a ripper and my 3rd Commencal. They really make great products.
