New BFe 27.5. Longer lower slacker. Geometry with commitment.

With the biggest leap forward in the BFe's geometry since its inception, the Cotic just got rowdier! Longer, lower, and slacker, the BFe 27.5 will make small work of any trail, downhill, skatepark, pumptrack or dirt jumps you point it at.

Dave Camus took us on a tour of Sheffield spots (using our Grit and Steel piste map) and showed us just how capable a hardtail can be. It comes with a Reynolds 853 downtube, a 142x12 syntace rear axle and clearance for 27.5 x 2.6", or new 26+ x 3" tires. Optimised around a 140mm fork (down to 120mm or up to a whopping 160mm), there's very little that you will struggle with astride one of these. It really is the hardtail version of our flagship Rocket.

The main delivery is available to pre-order now, but we had a few frames air-freighted over for video shoots and early birds who were signed up to our mailing list. All sizes will be available to test on the demo fleet so be in touch at demo@cotic.co.uk if you'd like to get booked in. Let us know what you think in the comments below and we'll see you on the trails soon.

I remeber Cotic BFe "26 ain't dead" marketing like it was yesterday.
Great looking frame tho, I wish I could justify a 5th bike.

Thanks to the British for having the good idea and the integrity to propose steel-made hard-core bikes strongly dedicated to put smiles on our faces. I own a Stanton Switchback which is more or less the same kind of beefy thing, and it is simply the best bike I ever had.

Cool, I love low top tubes Smile . For the medium size, how long is it between center bottom bracket to the top of the top tube where it joins the seat tube? That gives me an idea of how much room this gives me over the bike.

Now i know what frame i am saving up for. unless a smoking deal on a chromag falls in my lap. The black with blue and orange is purty.
