I used to be a mountain bike evangelist. I ended up getting more people to buy bikes than actually ride. I came to the conclusion I should just let people choose themselves. I don't get paid to sell bikes though.

I'm not sure who this really appeals to, other than the people who partake. I understand it's pushing the limits of human capacity and technology to some extent. Once you start towing a bike with a dragster, it turns into a "who gives a crap" record (IMO).

Review: Crankbrothers' Klic Digital Floor Pump + Burst Tank
Back in the tube days, you had to carry a tube and patches. Patching is a bit of a skill in itself. You could get 3-4 flats in one ride and then you would worry about going too fast because you might get another flat. I'll take tubeless. It's not for everyone. It takes some experience and gear, but it's well worth it. I can't remember the last time I had more than 1 flat on a ride. I can't really remember my last flat or if I even have a tube in my bag.
