Reynolds Releases More Affordable TR Mountain Wheels
for all of you saying that $1,300 isn't affordable... they never said it was affordable they just said "more affordable" and "lower-priced COMPOSITE wheel-set" compared to other reputable brands: enve: starts at $2,800 i9: starts at $2,300 dt swiss: $2,000 NOBL: starts at $1,500 Roval: starts at $1,500 (their $1,200 model is an xc wheelset not AM) NOX: starts at $1,400 Stans: starts at $1,400 Giant: starts at $1,400 Bontrager: $1,200 (but only available in boost spacing) Compared to other brands reynolds is correct in saying they are in the lower-priced range for composite wheels. the only way you would be able to get a cheaper carbon wheelset from a reputable brand (not like light bicycle) is if you bought each rim separately for around ~$400, got a super cheap hubset ~$250, spokes and nipples/ other small parts ~$50 and built it up all by yourself to which it would still be around $1,100.
